What’s going on this week on Planet French:
It’s another huge week on Planet French! The tremendously popular contest for French students “Écris une lettre au père Noel”! starts Today!
We’re also featuring the biggest toy store in the world and we’re starting our interviews with Santa’s elves.
By Wednesday we’ll be adding a new lesson about the biggest telescope in the history of the world, the James Webb telescope. We gave you a short teaser last week during a general news episode, and we’ve been asked for more. We interviewed the mission director for Canada’s Space Agency (in French)
and he explains Canada’s involvement. This lesson will be posted in the science course, “LA TERRE ET L’ESPACE”, on Planet French by Wednesday.
By the end of this week we are also adding an intermediate level reader and audio drama on volcanoes. It features both a narrative story and facts of interest about volcanoes, in addition to the drama audio component performed by actors.
