Planet French is constantly growing, like a loaf of fresh dough in the oven. What started with a handful of videos and eBooks now has over 750 French resources, and rising!
These include weekly Canadian news episodes in levelled French and 45 French courses.
Just this past year, we’ve added 50+ more resources. In addition to new content, we’ve also reorganized the courses in a simpler navigation menu, added an easy student self-registration process, and bigger and faster online servers.
We are working on new French courses for students of all grades and fluency levels, different formats including cartoons, and new technologies for more intuitive navigation and immersive student engagement, including during remote sessions.
Next up will be a course on the home and neighbourhood (coming soon), and since it’s the Oscars on April 25th, we’ll be including “le cinéma” in our weekly episodes beginning next week, with activities for your French students.
Speaking of remote learning, teachers have asked me where to find the couple of videos to help students with remote learning vocabulary.
I put them on the front page of Planet French at the time of this writing, but you can easily find them with the quick search (see video below). They are episodes 180 and 182.
You can also find anything by typing the keywords in the “quick search loupe”, top right corner. If you type “etudier à la maison”, these video episodes will come up.
to see how to do a quick search. You can also do a detailed search by clicking on the “recherche avancée” menu tab.
To navigate the courses, simply click the menu “les cours”.
